CVL was in the Seattle Times newspaper! The article talks about using Second Life for education, providing experiences for those with disabilities, and highlights the Community Virtual Library as a real library in the “metaverse”. As people hear this term and learn what it means to be embodied in an avatar with a sense of presence within a persistent place, the possibilities for critical thinking and deep learning will become evident. What an amazing time to be a librarian!
